Harvesters will be touring the Center for Great Apes, a sanctuary for orangutans and chimpanzees, near Wauchula on April 3. The tour begins at 10:30 but please take into account that the drive to Wauchula is about one hour. Touring this sanctuary is a rare opportunity where we will encounter a number of apes from movies that are now too old to “act.” The facility is safe and beautiful, and the staff does good work.

There will also be an option of stopping for lunch either with the group or on your own. The cost of lunch is up to you.
