Instead of giving up something during Lent, we invite you to begin these practicing these spiritual disciplines. We then hope that you will continue them throughout the year. The following is not a menu to pick one or two to do. Rather to take a spiritual step forward in each discipline to grow your faith and thus grow the Harvest community.

Pray – Lift Harvest and upcoming ministries daily in your prayers. Easter Sunday, 25th Anniversary, Harvest Kids Summer Camp, Youth Ministry…

Worship – Intentionally participate in worship every week through the season of Lent and Easter. April 30 is the anniversary celebration.

Scripture Study – We have multiple offerings of studies:

  • Finding Jesus in Psalms, Wednesdays at 12PM, Starting March 1, Led by Nick Lee
  • Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts, and Outlaws, Various Dates/Times/Leaders
  • Pray First, Wednesdays at 7PM, Starting March 1, Led by Bob Stark
  • Restored: Finding Redemption in Our Mess, Wednesdays at 7PM, Starting March 1, Led by Rafe Vigil

Give – Bring an “over and above” extra gift during the season to support the debt (mortgage) and the restart of our youth ministry. Our goal is $300K. $180K for the debt payments for 2023 and $120K for staff and programing in youth ministry.

Fasting – Focus on health and nutrition. Make a healthy lifestyle choice and live it. Care for the “temple” God gave you so that you can do more for God.

Serve – Engage in one of the missions through Harvest and spend some time in serving. Contact the office to connect with one of our outreach ministries.
