Christmas Eve worship is designed for people of all ages. Special touches will keep younger ones engaged and include songs, stories, and Silent Night candle lighting. Please read more about IN-PERSON and ONLINE worship in the sections below.
In-person Worship GatheringS
Children and Christmas Eve
Children are welcome in worship. Christmas Eve worship includes many elements that connect with people of all ages, including children. Children are also gifted a special Harvest ornament for their Christmas tree (it's a long-standing tradition). Families are welcome to check their children ages 4 and younger into our Harvest Kids environment. Background screened and trained childcare workers will provide safe, fun, faith formational activities during worship. Harvest Kids opens 20 minutes before each worship gathering. Masks are worn by everyone ages 3+ in the Harvest Kids environment.
Parking
Harvest provides parking attendants to help you find your way into and out of the parking lot. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before the worship gathering and follow the instructions of the attendants. They are here to help!
Arrival
As you enter the Harvest building, you will be greeted warmly and offered a bag filled with everything you will need for worship including Communion elements, a program, and candles. Special bags for children courtesy of Just Grow and Harvest Kids will also be gifted.
Christmas Offering
You will be invited to give a gift towards the Harvest Christmas Offering. This year's offering is being gifted to Just Grow. Relaunching a school at Harvest and expanding to full day with an emphasis on reaching our broader community has been a blessing. Your gift will enable Harvest to sustain Just Grow during this early phase of restart so local students and families can continue to be served without interruption. Chat & Request Prayer
During the livestream worship gatherings at 4 PM and 6 PM you will be able to CHAT with other guests. Simply create a screen name and say hello in chat. People are ready to welcome you. To pray with a host or pastor, simply click "Request Prayer" and someone will respond.
Notes & Bible
You can access scripture right in the platform. Click "Bible." You can also access any announcements and words of welcome from hosts that have been uploaded for worship. Click "Notes."
Communion
We believe that God's table is open to all those who want to follow Jesus. You are invited to participate. Gather something to represent the bread and cup before worship so that you are ready.
Candlelight
Have a candle ready to light. Worship will close with the singing of Silent Night while we light candles representing the light of Jesus.
